Came down for the solar eclipse and simply needed a place to sleep.
The room was a little smaller than Im used to, but I was only there to sleep so I was not disappointed
Only interacted with the staff a couple times, but each time was prompt and accurately taken care of

This is by far THE BEST Hotel Ive stayed at in Mentor/Cleveland/Akron area in three years of traveling back/forth from/to Pennsylvania!! The cleanliness and room set up is extremely welcoming. It felt like home away from home. 5-star comfort at an economically priced rate.

Rooms are dated, some are better than others but the staff (especially the lady at night) are very friendly and accommodating. Great location. For the price no complaints, but the prices seem to be going up. Wish they had laundry facilities.
Rooms: Rooms are dated but the TVs are decent.
Nearby activities: Lake Erie, Mentor Lagoons (Kayaking, nature preserve) President Garfields house, Great Lakes Mall
Safety: Mentor police are always getting in everybodys business
Walkability: Not a walkable city, but there are a few restaurants within walking distance.
Food & drinks: Every chain restaurant under the sun is in mentor, very few mom and pop restaurants still around.
