I took delivery of a new 2024 Accord Hybrid EX-L today! Tim Powell did an awesome job with this deal. All negotiations were handled in a few short emails and we came to a quick agreement. Alright, names to recognize here. Duane Carnathan & Logan Kessler. Found a new 2024 Honda Civic Hatchback, 6 speed manual transmission here at Diehl Honda of Massillon with 1 mile on it. There were only 3 three of these cars in a 200 mile radius of my location. The two within an hour drive of my home sold in three days (one in moon township was reserved with down payment before the car was even on dealer site). The second at C. Harper in Belle Vernon Pa. sold while I was en-route to test drive it. So I missed both of those cars. So when Duane at Diehl told me they still had one in the lot that had not been "unpacked" from delivery yet, I had to jump on it. My only conditions were I wanted it at the Autotrader advertised price and I wanted the 4.9% Honda Finance rate for 60 months (APRs in 2023 all around are terrible at the moment, thank you Fed Chairman Powell). Diehl Honda of Massillion is a three hour one way drive for me. So now the story starts. Duane was willing to get everything started without meeting me, which saved me a three hour trip. Duane got me rolling with a Diehl online finance form. And within 24 hours he had me approved at the rate I wanted and advertised price. Reservation down payment was over phone, Driver license copy, Insurance cards, price breakdowns with confirmed APR, financed amount, and term, all done remotely. By the time I needed to travel to Diehl in Ohio (three hour drive) and pick this car up Duane had everything wrapped up. Car was ready, all needed documents were completed and ready to move over to Logan in finance. Logan actually came over from another dealership (KIA I think) to move things along even more seamlessly in finance. Logan, another awesome Diehl employee. In talking with Logan he actually gave step by step instructions on how to fix a window issue with my mother in-laws Subaru. Logan and Duane also recommended a pretty good food joint called Falcons for lunch with darn good prices. Both of these gents made this car buying experience very very well.
