Steiner Mc Bride Apartments

I lived in these apartments for about 6 years. They were actually pretty great apartments. Roomy and well kept up. Yearly bug sprays to prevent pests. Maintenance was always pretty quick to fix things. However, since they were bought by (I believe it was Shawnee apartments) everything went downhill. They stopped screening for people with drug charges and violent felonies. We regularly started hearing gunshots at least every month. They found a dead body nearby. They stopped the yearly bug spraying. At least, they never did it while I was there. Maintenance was not as quick to respond anymore. I wouldn't recommend these apartments while under this ownership. We literally have lived down the road from there for over a year now and it's so much more quiet and peaceful here.
