I am writing this review because I want to give open and honest feedback, as well as saving anyone the time and trouble of renting from this place. If I could give this place negative stars I would. The apartment building advertises that its a non smoking apartment. The hallways smelled like weed and cigarettes every day. I was embarrassed to have friends over because every time they came over told me the hallways smelled like a farm. Not only is this place dirty, the management is horrendous. I set up auto pay for my monthly payments. I canceled my auto pay the month before rent was due ( in June) and paid my next rent on the 1st of July. They ended up STILL auto charging me after paying rent on the first. I called the manager, Myia Magana to let her know that they charged me twice for rent and I needed a refund. She told me I could just use that money for next months rent and if not, then I would have to call my bank and dispute one of the payments. I live paycheck to paycheck so I had to call my bank and dispute one of the payments. This turned into a nightmare. Myia contacted me and told me that my bank disputed both of the payments, not one and I had to contact my bank to figure it out because I owed them money now. Long story short, my bank told me that the apartments filed documentation stating that they could keep both rent payments for July because I was breaking my lease, even though I paid the lease break fee of two months worth of rent and August rent. I had to hire a lawyer I am currently working with to get this resolved because Myia refused to give me corporates number and would not communicate with me any further. Her last email to me was so rude and she does not care about her residents at all. She refuses to email me back. I cannot believe they let this girl manage an apartment. Ive rented from multiple places in my lifetime and I have never had this horrible of an experience renting from somewhere. PLEASE save yourself and do not rent from this place.
