Days Inn by Wyndham Kent - Akron

The location was great, staff was always pleasant and professional, The room was average but adequate, included hair dryer, microwave and refrigerator. The breakfast consisted of raisin and other breads for toasting, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, juice etc. Just what we needed for our two day stay. It was a nice place for the budget price of $70/night! My only complaint is the beds are a little firm. Noteworthy details: I could tell this was once a runned down hotel that has had recent updates, like flooring and newer refrigerators. The landscaping is very nice. Less than half mile drive to fast food restaurants.

Beware! Cable channels do not work and nothing is done when reporting them to the front desk. Stains on the bedding due to "new" houspkeeping. Problem with the deposit for the room which can or will not be handled by either the hotel franchise nor the corporate offices. All in all, not worth the cheap cost.

Rented a room for me and my worker for a week first room lock on front door didn't lock towels and blankets dirty ... Floors not cleaned... Service as far as house cleaning.. saw no one here all week.. was not given clean towels after requesting them.. but the manager will come into your room everyday and look around your room. Breakfast is horrible.. stay at a lot of hotels and I understand it's not a high priced hotel.. but it should be clean... We are here for the rest of the month working... We will be moving across the street....I don't recommend staying here...also saw a veteran kicked out over a argument about his service dog.... That really pisses me off... Over charged on rooms and deposits... And given printed receipts... Price changes from worker to worker.charged for a safe u don't use... all kinds of hidden fees...just bad business.....I have a ten man (person )crew. We all going across the street.....it's all bad go somewhere anywhere else...

I highly recommend this hotel over all other hotels in the Brimfield cluster. They are inexpensive, yet much higher quality. Everything was up to par and the staff was very kind. They didn't harass us during check out, and they had a healthy and filling breakfast in the am. The wifi was impeccable and there was a very large "smart" mirror that lit up very bright, that allowed me to see everything much better to get ready. I felt far more confident about my appearance thanks to this. We had a financial situation and the staff was very understanding and I will be telling all my friends and family that this is where it's at for the Kent Brimfield cluster. Rooms: These rooms have plenty of hot water, very clean, comparable prices for much better quality, condition and cleanliness. Friendliness of staff was superb and they let us take our time unlike other hotels where they hassle you to get out at check out
