We were initially pleased with the work. 2 things changed that. #1 for months after the work was done we were finding nails and plastic pieces in the yard. It took a metal detector to find all of them in some areas. #2 The roof is less than 6 months old and it is LEAKING!!! Leaking badly!!! These people have moved from behind Hinckley Animal Hospital and left no forwarding address. Their business phone still works and always goes to voice mail. The company DOES NOT return repeated phone calls. For a roof to leak after 6 months with no damage from storms indicates a shoddy job was done in my opinion. Buyer BEWARE! Another interesting issue is a work crew that does not speak English. Service: Roof installation

They used to be a GREAT company! They did a new roof for us a couple of years ago and everything was very good. However, now we needed a small thing taken care of and wanted to update our siding color, well Mike is NOT returning calls.. . We referred neighbors and friends as of late and NOBODY FROM 4Khas called them back. These people want and need a new roof. I cannot recommend them to anyone any longer. We got our roof done by 4k in October, and it was a great customer service experience! Tom Toyama went above and beyond to handle our insurance claim and get us through the red tape in a way we probably couldn't have done without him, and his communication and service throughout the process was excellent. The crew did their work quickly and with high quality, and we're very happy with our new roof!

Tom Toyama of 4K Roofing and Restoration worked with me start to finish on repairing significant wind damage to our residential home in the Cleveland suburbs. I cannot recommend Tom highly enough. Heres why:
1. Effective and Comprehensive Approach. Tom communicates promptly and clearly, setting expectations for the scope of work to be performed. He provided me accurate, realistic expectations on the timing for the entire process of replacing our roof, which he completed as promised, on budget, and without delay.
2. Professional Commitment; Competitive Pricing. Toms commitment to delivering exceptional customer service was demonstrated from the very outset when he volunteered to interrupt his Labor Day holiday weekend to accommodate the schedule of our insurance adjuster. Confirming approval of the estimates for repairing a loss/damage is a critical component in establishing the basis for asserting an approved claim with your homeowners insurance provider, and Tom knows that. This extra step by Tom ensured that our claim would be expediently processed and that his estimates for the work would be fully understood by our insurance provider. Had Tom been unavailable for the site visit, our project could have been delayed. Our insurance adjuster commented on how fair and accurate Toms estimates were for the scope of repairs. Said he loved working with 4K Roofing and Tom.
3. Prompt; Polite; Prepared. A couple weeks later, Toms team was early to the job (ready to roll at sunrise), and had some fun playing with my infant daughter while preparing for the work ahead. In just one day of labor with a competent team of 8 guys, Tom replaced the roof on our 2-story home and hauled off all the debris and waste from the job.
I happened to be out of town during the construction, and Tom sent me a dozen or so photographs of the progress, and fully explained all of the minor adjustments that were needed to the job. Tom was texting me with updates because he knew I was stuck on a plane, and checked in with me and my wife for a call later in the afternoon when the work was completed. Nothing in our yard was damaged, none of our Halloween decorations or pumpkins were ruined, and, Tom even put my garbage cans away.
Tom is a total pro, committed to his craft, and works with an exceptional crew. I was completely surprised by how quickly and efficiently they worked. I cant say enough good things about tom Toyama and 4K Roofing & Restoration.
