The hotel is under renovation and the pool is closed, but they have a deal with the neighboring hotel where we could use their pool. The room was nice, clean, large, but the toilet didn't flush. I brought this up with the desk and they gave me a dirty plunger. I had to use it 3x. Hotel management said they'd throw in a discount and some loyalty points on my wife's account, but upon checkout we seemingly received neither of these. The bathroom soaps were awkwardly attached (not great for kids) and the thermostat was seemingly off by about 10 degrees, but they also gave us a nice little eclipse package which was a nice touch.
The location is also just okay. It's right off the freeway (read: loud), but far from town so if you're visiting Fremont it is probably better to stay in town.
Overall it's a pretty good hotel, but it wasn't worth what we paid.
Nearby activities: Nothing nearby besides other hotels and a freeway.
Walkability: There is zero walkability here.
