Quality Inn Dayton Airport

Room was very old and dirty. Used towels hanging on door. Found pet food on the floor. Holes in wall. Spills on walls. What appeared to be a bullet hole in the window. Website advertised free airport shuttle but was told there was none. Front desk did call someone and arranged for pickup so we were provided airport shuttle.

Lobby smelled like use cat litter, and hallway wasn't much better. My room had hairs all over it so it clearly hadn't been cleaned and there was a large dark brown stain just outside my room. The building is also horribly maintained. My bathroom door wouldn't close and the one working elevator would open its doors before stopping on the floor and then immediately try to close, even if you were walking through at the time. I almost slept in my car. It's clear no effort has been put into cleaning or maintenance of this hotel.

Room was disgusting. The property was covered in garbage, with police tape all over the place. None of the entrances were available besides the main entrance. The pool had signs on it that stated it was closed, which was not posted anywhere on the website. When asking about this to the front desk employee she had no idea the pool was closed. She later let us know that the maintenance that was done on the pool was completed, and the pool was open. After seeing the hotel room and reading other reviews we ended up just staying at a different hotel for the night. There are better hotels in the area that are the same price or cheaper.

Rooms seemed clean . Rooms are old and need updated ,at least clock radio or lamp with USB PORTS. BReakfast was good . Price was really good.
