Americas Best Value Inn-Englewood-Dayton Airport

Good for the price. The bed, linens, and bathrooms were clean which is what matters. Rugs were stained and worn, but that's to be expected at an older roadside motel.

I called to reserve a room with a king sized bed, was told that I would not need to reserve with credit card! Get this, the guy (who was the manager) refused to take my reservation. He said there was no need, always plenty of rooms. Arrived to find they had no King bed rooms, no record of my call. They offered a double queen room, I w as pissed! Then, I looked at 11 rooms before finding one acceptable. Horribly stained carpet, awful smells, the place looked like they have never did any maintenance. It was BAD. Not recommended!

Compared to the previous motel 6 at this site, the new management has really turned it around!
