Brittany the property manager is sweet and helpful but constantly overwhelmed with everything she has to deal with around the complex. Trash is constantly littered throughout the apartment, people don't pick up after their dogs, the amenities are cheap and put together poorly by cheap labor. Constant maintenance issues with old outdated equipment. Tons of extra fees added onto rent. They call this luxury and charge luxury prices but it is anything from that. They charge high prices because of the "area" yet still likely to get your car broken into. You can find a newer apartment outside Columbus for $600 less.

Pretty small for the price. When I applied and paid the fee for processing my app it was for a 1st floor unit. When I toured they advised all 1st floor units were filled. I like to grill out and can not do so on a 2nd floor apartment as they do not have a balcony. Hopefully a 1st floor unit opens once I am accepted.

TLDR: I moved to this complex due to the cheaper (starting) rent and the location but the subsequent rent hikes and lack of quality of the apartments and grounds keeping has made it hard to justify staying. If you need an apartment in a great location this may be for you but if you have any issues with quality or upkeep I would suggest looking elsewhere. Rent and Fees: They raise the rent for current tenants by 6% every year. I started with a base rent of $1200, but now its $1399 for the third year lease. Thats not including the fees that they charge for various services, such as Building and Facilities Fee ($13.00), Personal Content Coverage Fee ($8.00), Trash Reimbursement ($30.00), Pest Control Reimbursement ($7.00), and Pet Rent- Dog ($70.00 for two dogs). Total: $1574.00 Per month. Internet and Utilities: They require you to pay a minimum of $55 a month for internet. The internet service is unreliable and slow, and sometimes it goes out for days. They use NEP for water and electric, which means you have to pay extra fees, to NEP, for those utilities as they up-charge. Maintenance and Repairs: The maintenance and repair service here is very poor. They dont respond to requests in a timely manner, and sometimes they dont show up at all. For example, the door handle on my front door fell off and no one came to fix it for a month. I had to fix it myself. Amenities and Improvements: The only positive thing I can say about this place is that they have made some improvements to the amenities. They added a community garden behind the dog park, and some training obstacles in the park. They also added some playground equipment and fixed the pool deck. Trash and Litter: There is a serious trash and litter problem here. The dumpster doors are often left open, and the garbage spills out onto the ground. Some of the trash comes from the shopping center and the road nearby, but some of it is from the residents who dont care about keeping the place clean. Dog Poop: There is also a lot of dog poop everywhere. I dont know who is not cleaning up after their pets, but its disgusting and unsanitary. Its gotten a lot worse in the past few months. The complex has dog bag receptacles but they are rarely filled except in the common area next to the pool. AC and Windows: The AC units here are old and falling apart. They wont upgrade them unless they completely stop working. They say its not in their budget. The windows are also thin and old, and they let the cold air in. This makes the heating bills higher in the winter. Noise and Parties: The noise level here is fairly quiet given that there is a major road and an airport near by. The condo complex next door likes to have regular parties with loud music and yelling that can go until 5 am+. The police can't or won't do anything about it. The only time they shut the party down was when they came twice in one night. The next party, they were quieter, but they still left trash everywhere afterwards. It blows over to our complex. Children and Vandalism: There are a lot of children who run around the complex and are very noisy at times. They also like to destroy things. I've seen them beat a transformer with tree branches and take a fire extinguisher from a breezeway and play with it in a yard. Lately, the parents seem to be more responsible and keep their children indoors or busy.
