DO NOT GO TO THIS URGENT CARE!! I walked in with my son who was extremely sick and they wouldnt see us. The receptionist states the provider told her to tell anyone coming in that they couldnt take anyone else unless it was a true emergency. 20 minutes before closing but they turned us away. She told me they were full for the night meanwhile the waiting room and parking lot were empty. The provider didnt even lay eyes on my son. Unacceptable! We left and drove across the street to OSU Urgent Care and was provided with the best care possible.

The worst healthcare experience I have ever encountered. The CNP was in the room for less than 1 minute, hardly let me speak, and put words into my mouth to get me out as quick as possible. As a fellow healthcare provider this was the saddest experience and one of many things wrong with Americas healthcare system. I will never seek care at this urgent care again.

I wish I could rate this place zero stars! Nice, new, fancy urgent care facility, HUGE lit up sign that says URGENT CARE, yet I walk in with my son having respiratory distress due to his asthma and was asked if I had an appointment?! (We usually go to Childrens, but this was closer and he was really struggling to breathe). Since when do urgent cares require appointments to be seen!?? The triage staff at the front said he could not be seen without an appointment because they were at capacity. I informed her he was having difficulty breathing and she agreed to check his oxygen and he could possibly be seen if it is a certain number, his oxygen was low and he had very labored breathing, she said he could have a seat and she would recheck his oxygen level again in 5 minutes because it could be low since he just walked in. I told her it was low at home and hes clearly struggling to breathe, and that is why we came here, so we left to go somewhere he could receive appropriate treatment. We went to childrens urgent care, where they immediately took him back and ended up transferring him to the Childrens ER and he ultimately was admitted, almost required the ICU yet was refused to even be evaluated at this urgent care!!! Seems the triage staff needs educated on how quickly asthmatic patients can decline, especially children, and how to appropriately triage a walk-in over a less acute patient, appointment or not!!!! The fact an urgent care requires appointments still baffles me, but yet they want to reduce ER usage. Make it make sense! I called a left a message with a supervisor, no call back yet. *I want to update, I did receive a return call from management and discussed the situation. She was very apologetic and agreed that the situation was handled poorly. Agreed that regardless of appointment or not, he should have been triaged to be seen immediately and that she will be speaking with the staff regarding handling acute situations appropriately. Thankfully, despite the delay in treatment, the outcome was not worse, and I just want this to be an educational and learning opportunity.
