El Segundo Mexican Kitchen- Closed

The atmosphere was lively but the food is a total rip-off. They skim on the meat. I ordered 3 tacos and the meat combined in all 3 was about the meat that should have been in one. It was a limp, floppy tortilla w a few cubes of meat. They appear to be trying to save costs and it results in a pathetic meal. Better off going to a chain restaurant even.

Very relaxing and had an excellent server, Brittney! Guacamole was delicious! I would have liked brewed ice tea instead of bottled.

A somewhat limited menu, but everything you'd expect to see was there, and it was all well prepared and delicious. An excellent cocktail selection as well, especially if you like tequila or mezcal. Good ambience, buzzy but not so loud you couldn't carry on a conversation. Service was prompt and friendly.

Didn't expect to find the most delicious burger I've ever eaten at a Mexican place! Their burger is amazing, from the bun to the beef to the toppings. I also had a jackfruit taco and it was fantastic too, with just the right fresh toppings. It was just a take-out order for a couple of people, but the greeter was extremely friendly and welcoming. They truly seem to live up to their motto of "great people delivering genuine hospitality".
