El Vaquero Mexican Restaurant

Worst experience I've ever had. Waited 45 minutes for a taco salad with raw ground beef. The restaurant is going down hill, been eating there for years. Worst experience I've ever had. Will not go back EVER

Looks like this location only cares about the lunch time crowd to serve the food fresh. We were at this place for a dinner and the food was not fresh, the guac was obviously stale and the server did not really acknowledge that even when we showed it to him. I wouldn't be visiting this place on the future.

I've typically had fine experiences with El Vaquero in the past, but our most recent trip was certainly our last. There was a literal spider in one of our drinks and when we informed our server they just took the cup away and brought a new cup of water. No apology or any word on the matter. The following food was nothing special and service was gruelingly slow despite us being one of only four tables there. We had to ask for the check twice and were only able to leave nearly 15 minutes after our plates were taken away. Needless to say, we won't be going back. It could've just been a bad day, but there's plenty of other places to eat with better prices or food.

Our server, Stephanie, was great! Food was so-so. The burritos was soggy due to the red sauce. The refried beans inside my burrito was very liquidy. Also found an eyelash in my rice. The chicken inside the burrito was good. A little disappointed in the food. The temperature of the food was lukewarm.
