First! THIS CU IS HORRIBLE! Moved to OH from another state. Let me also say, I have a bank, one of my major creditors, that I am WELL established with. At the urging of a family member, I became a NF customer. First, I had my payroll direct deposited to this account. Then, after trying to Zelle $$ to my main account I realized NF Zelle takes 24 HOURS to deposit the money, not immediately. Now, after a mobile deposit was scrutinized to the hilts and finally accepted, NF wants to hold my funds for 6 DAYS, not 5! Once again holding up my financial obligations to my creditors. I WILL be closing my account AS SOON AS my $$ posts! And if this is how they treat our Veterans then shame on them! Now, I have to take a day off to go to Cleveland (only location in NE OHIO!) and close this disastrous banking mistake I made! I should have DRIVEN TO MARYLAND and deposited my check in my REAL BANK! The check was too much to mobile deposit with them but, I GUARANTEE my $$ would be in my account by now! And, Im reporting yall! You are a banking institution, IRS checks can be verified immediately! DO NOT BANK WITH THESE PEOPLE IF YOU VALUE YOUR CREDIT AND CREDIT WORTHINESS, they will have you all messed up!

Okay experience so far just used as a checking saving account. I wrote two checks using my account and one thing I learned is I would NEVER write another check using this credit union seems like they purposely wait to process the check and when it finally clears after about a month later they are quick to charge $29 fee and mess up whatever you wrote the check for. When asked to remove fee they always say unfortunately its not the banks fault when it is. I used to work for banking now I know they are doing this to get money for their profit sharing at the end of the year. Very dirty tactic I officially tore up the rest of the checks I had for this account. I rather use Chase bank for checks moving forward at least they process they checks right away.

I once had direct deposit with Navy Federal when I started receiving Social Security, Child Support found out and took my Social Security for that Month almost causing me to be evicted from my apartment and causing checks that I had wrote ( NAVY FEDERAL CHECKS ). and caused my Navy Federal account to be closed. I am an eight year Marine Corps Disabled Marine Corps Veteran Twice Honorable Discharged and I personally feel I should lose a Credit Union that I have been dealing with since Marine Corps Boot Camp. I feel it is a disgrace that the Child Support System are allowed to destroy individuals personal accounts without allowing them a second chance, it to the VA. Over thirty five years to diagnose me with PTSD which has affected me all of my life in all areas of my life. If any consideration would be given into REOPENING MY PREVIOUS ACCOUNT BASED ON NO NEGLIGENCE OF MY OWN BUT THE COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, STATE OF OHIO.
