Crittenden Court Apartments

I have lived at Crittenden Court for 3 years now. The price and location are GREAT. When I first moved in, the management of the building was my biggest frustration. Packages were constantly not being delivered (or even getting stolen). Maintenance requests were not actively being managed/fulfilled. Within the last year, a new management company has taken over and the problems above have been addressed. Zach in the Leasing Office does an excellent job making sure the building runs properly and all problems are resolved quickly! I recommend Crittenden Court Apartments for those looking for an affordable place downtown CLE!

Just moved out after living here for 2 years. Here are my thoughts: Pros: The least expensive apartment building downtown. Dont expect modern amenities but it is VERY fairly priced considering the. Location Location Location! Walking distance to anything that you need (except a Target) Very Quiet building-No noise from the neighbors. You will however hear people leaving the Flats and walking/driving up W St Clair well past 2am, especially on the weekends but that comes with the location and is completely out of the buildings control. Cons: Office staff is rude. Neither Joe nor Audrey have any business dealing with the public. Stay in that back office and find a couple of people who actually want to deal with other humans. Maintenance is stretched very thin. There is 1 Cleaning person and 1 Maintenance guy for an 18 floor building. They both do a great job (shout-out to Bev and Tony!) but cant be everywhere at once. 24/7 security is advertised but is hardly the case. The security desk is often un-manned after midnight and when someone is working, they are watching Youtube on their phones or chit-chatting with the residents which leads to Park at your own risk! My car was vandalized in the parking garage. It was caught on camera but the building management didnt want to proceed any further because claimed they couldnt make out who it was on camera, a full 7 days after the incident. With better security this could have been avoided. Overall living in Crittenden was a positive experience and I would recommend it if you dont mind dealing with a rude landlord and dont need 24/7 security.

This apartment complex has to be Clevelands best kept secret. With amazing views and wonderful walk ability I would recommend this place to anyone looking to live downtown. Theyre in the midst of renovating the entire apartment building and amenities. I cant wait to see what itll be like when its fully complete!

This is the place to be. I recently moved in here not to long ago and my experience has been nothing but fantastic. Keep in mind, according to the employees at the Crittenden, they recently got new ownership not to long ago, so stuff is changing and the management has a lot on their plate it seems. Sometimes, I ask questions and dont get direct answers because theyre in the midsts of figuring stuff out themselves, which is fine. The positive to that is that it seems like theyre putting a ton of money into it. Repainting the hallways, redoing units, all that. One example is they want to switch from a physical key system to a key fob system so well see how that plays out in the future. I feel like the complex is in good hands. Parking is directly attached to the building and runs you about $130/month. Internet is through Spectrum-so far have no complaints. All in all, super nice employees (shout out Zach in the leasing office-knows everyone by name), great location, and awesome price for downtown.
