Beechmont Towers Apartments

Not sure why my review got deleted I lived here in 2012 and moved out August of 2013 three moved back October of 2014 and moved out October of 2019 the place looks new on the inside and outside since it had to get remodeled due to the fire incident I moved to Mayfield Heights I loved this place at the time it was by McDonalds Wendys Target was not there yet when I lived there but now there is one they also have a store called Lakeshore Learning Academy I think that store is cool I moved to the Akron Area November of 2023 since I have been wanting to for awhile new scenery a change etc

I've been living in Beechmont Towers since 2000. Love love love the community. I have seen many changes good and bad. What I do not like are shopping carts on the premises, compactor room with large items around and now the dog feces everywhere. I still love the small community and friendly neighbors.

The experience with management was very helpful. The building is being renovated so this should improve the look and feel of these apartments. The applications process was a pain. The amount I was required to put down I could have put on a down payment to a house. So, this needs to be improved to allow for access to those without 4k to move into a 800sqf -2-bedroom apt. Keep in mind, if your credit is less than stellar, they are going to charge 3 times the rent to move in; make you pay an extra application fee for a cosigner for a very small apartment. One last point of contention. The washer and dryer in the common area charges $2.29 to wash and $2.29 to dry your clothes $4.58 per load. I do understand that machine maintenance cost and the price of water but dang! My mother said always end on a positive note and I listened to her. All in all, once I got my apt, I was satisfied with the professionalism of the management company and the end results of the unit I rented. The staff were amazing!

Wish I wouldve had more time to make a decision when initially was in an emergency state if looking for a place to live. Unfortunately Ill be here until I can afford to move again. Management is awful. Maintenance work orders take forever to get done. At times theyre marked complete when never completed. For those that rely on the community laundry rooms, its a fighting battle. After three years of them never being readily available I finally started taking my laundry elsewhere to do. In the winter the parking lot is never plowed properly. Walls are so thin I can smell my neighbors cigarette smoke management says too bad so sad they have the right to smoke but I guess I do t have the right to live in a smoke free home. I cant control the heat in the winter. When it rains the floor in front of my sliding door is soaking wet. Ive reported it a few times but its never fixed. I could keep going on and on. Mind blowing.
