    My family has ordered from Macys a few times but this will be the last time. I went in to find a couch for my Chicago apartment in December and was told 2-3 months for delivery. Here we are, over 3 months later, with no couch and not a singular update from the company. Ive called twice now and just hung up with a sales associate who was exasperated and quite frankly rude to me like hed rather be doing anything else. I was very kind and said Ive been waiting on this and ordered it because of the 2-3 month window and Ive now been waiting on a couch for 3 months in my new apartment with no estimate of when it is coming to which he replied I know you want it but we are well within the window. No you arent. Its now over the 3 months! At the end of the call, I thanked him again and as I was saying thank you, he literally hung up the phone on me. Really disappointing. The only reason I give this 2 stars is because of how great Clifford was when selling us the couch.

    Probably the worst experience ive had in looking for a recliner. Everthing looked cheap . The sales associate told me he would check on something. Then i see him greeting new people coming in the door. Ill never go back there again

    The absolute worst experience ever; do not recommend. Summary: No follow-up from the local sales representative to ensure smooth purchase process. The Customer Service and Scheduling teams are a nightmare. English is not their primary language and there are communication barriers; they follow a script and are useless. No way to escalate any issues. Macys as a whole does not care about the customer. If you want your life complicated by multiple delivery trips and trying for months, days, and hours to coordinate deliveries only to receive damaged items, this is the place to go. Details: I attempted to order furniture online from Macys website. When the transaction would not go through I contacted this Macys location over the phone for assistance. Sales rep was friendly and helped with my order. He assured me he was ordering the correct dresser and nightstands (note - you cannot correlate the web ID of the product to the SKU number on the sales check.) Expected delivery of all items was due before end of 2023. I never heard again any follow-up from this sales associate. Nightstands were dropped off in November and one was damaged. Macys had to return to pick up damaged nightstand and return with another nightstandalso damaged. Macys credited me for the damage. Dresser delivery got pushed until Jan 2024 (3+ months from order date.) After nightmare scheduling process, dresser finally delivered. The wrong dresser was ordered and it was damaged. Another scheduling nightmare to ensue; credit will only occur once the item is retrieved. I attempted to reach Macys customer service on Twitter; zero assistance at all. A horrific holistic problem with Macys furniture from the local store all the way through shipping and delivery.
