I am currently working with Jennifer Schunk on a number of things involving anxiety, grief, and family issues. I have attended a few sessions thus far. She currently offers phone and in-office appointments depending on your comfort level and availability. She listens well and remembers the things I've said or brought up during prior appointments, which is always a good sign. She has offered some help/guidance in overcoming anxiety or navigating difficult conversations. There was one appointment where she wasn't able to come to the office and called me to let me know we could either reschedule or do a phone appointment instead. And it was her calling, not a receptionist. Thus, her communication is fantastic and she offers a variety of phone numbers you can use to reach her.
I would recommend that if you have Anthem BlueCross BlueShield insurance that you double and triple-check how they bill you. I found Jennifer Schunk through my insurance website, in which it said counseling sessions would cost me nothing. That was a lie; I am charged as normal, so I cannot attend as many sessions as I feel I need. However, this is an Anthem issue, not Jennifer's, and health insurance is so untrustworthy as it is that hopefully you are watching yours carefully anyway. Just a head's up if you have this insurance.
