Knights Inn Athens - Closed

Room was clean, very dated and every shortcut to save them money was obviously taken. 1 roll of the cheapest toilet paper, no fitted sheet over a very thick plastic mattress encasement, heater made weird noises all night, had to continously hold down toilet handle in order to flush. You could see right through the towels and washcloths provided. However, the 1 thing that got me is the sign in the room. It stated if you needed a late checkout to let them know, otherwise you would be charged. I asked for an additional hour and was told it would be $20! I didn't know I was staying in a place that had an hourly rate! What good is the sign if you ask and are going to be charged anyway?

found a bed bug in the room we were staying in and attempted to let the front desk know but nobody answered or returned my calls. See picture for the bedbug we found. Nothing was done for follow up on the hotels part. Still 100% charged for the stay. Would not recommend

Relatively clean place. The woman at the front desk was a b!t(#. Horrible service, uncomfortable bed. AVOID THIS PLACE
