I rented from Jemm for just over a year. Their tenant portal is handy for online payments, and they are pretty responsive via text. I had issues with my next door neighbor (not Jemm tenants) and Mary was willing to help resolve the issue. They are also very thoughtful landlords and sent kind cards for my birthday and Christmas. Plus, they made it easy to move in, because I took over the apartment from a friend who was the previous tenant. I will say, I wish I had been informed of the gas bill price I could expect at the rental, as it was incredibly expensive in the winter due to lack of insulation and furnace issues. However, they and the property owners worked with me when I was taken by surprise on the first winter bill. Also, when I vacated, the carpet cleaning company found cat urine on the carpet with a black light - I don't have a cat nor ever had one in the apartment... So, I wish the property would have been in a little better shape before I moved in, but overall, I had a very positive experience with Mary, Sarah, and the team at Jemm. The apartment was a good value for the monthly rent price, especially considering it had a basement (albeit flooding-prone), which occasionally came in handy when we had tornado warnings this summer. Jemm has been very good. Anytime something has needed fixing, they're quick to get on it. Best landlords I've had. Friendly people. So far, I don't have a complaint against them.
