Cape Fear Hurricane Fabric

I am very satisfied with the hurricane fabric that I purchased as well as the service both before and after the sale. I sent my measurements to David and the fabric arrived cut to exactly the right sizes with the edges heat sealed to prevent raveling. Assembly of the clips and mounting of the hardware to the door frames was very straightforward. I was missing half of one clip, and one was mailed to me immediately after I sent an e-mail. The fabric is going to be a much better solution than the heavy plywood with 2x4 framing that I was using. Reasonable price, great service, great product - what is not to like?

At our home in Orlando, we had a significant hurricane protection challenge with a large patio lanai opening. After investigating hurricane panel and fabric providers locally, we found Cape Fear and the truly expert advice of David Copeland. With the help of a great handyman, my husband was able to make some structural modifications to provide a secure anchorage for the top attachment and complete the self install. We did it for a fraction of what other retailers quoted for only a portion of what was required to install. David's phone and email consultations from measuring, ordering and installing were invaluable. Our home was blown away from around us in Hurricane Andrew so this process was incredibly important. We could not have done it without David's help and we're confident that the fabric will do the job. Highly recommend!
