I'm looking for a contractor to build my house. I had a couple very productive conversations with Trevor. We seemed to hit it off and working together on my project looked to be a good fit. I was excited to get an estimate from them. After being told I would have an estimate soon I was totally ghosted and I still do not know why and my initial contact with him was in February. I sent countless emails and texts with no response. Business 101, communication. If something changed, if he was no longer interested, wasn't available any longer, whatever, just let me know, no problem. But to totally waste my time like that with no communication is unprofessional and unacceptable. I highly recommend seeking out someone, anyone else.

I've heard of build nightmares my entire life & believe most folk that decide to build have a fear that it'll be a dog fight to get what they want & have it done in a truly professional manner. Really an industry with a deservedly bad rep. Not so with Lanphear Builders - they are one of the most professional group of people I've ever dealt with, of any profession ! We came to Trevor & his group through my in-laws who had him build their house 2 yrs ago & it is one of the most solid construction jobs I'd ever seen so we didn't hesitate to involve Trevor in our build. Can't say enough about their level of professionalism, the quality of all the trade work done, skills at problem solving & recommendations for us & the level of trust we were able to place in them to build a one of a kind home for us !! If you are building or remodeling you at least owe it to yourself to consider this group - highly recommend them ! B.

After interviewing 4 top builders in Wilmington, we selected Trevor Lanphear for multiple reasons: 1) Quality of Work 2) Quality & skill of his crew 3) Attention to detail 4) Insistence on perfection of the work product 5) the fact that he was on the job site every day! Also, even after 6 months, either he or a member of his crew has been back many times to "tune up" the punch list. Lastly, everyone with his company is a nice & pleasant person.
