New Hanover County Child Support

My experience with this office has been nothing but exceptional! Brenda Turner is by far one of the nicest caseworkers I have ever dealt with! She is honest, fair, and tells it just like it is! I have only had to call the office a handful of times, but had no problem reaching someone. Not sure about these other reviews but looks like they are from 4-5 years ago! Much appreciation goes to the caseworkers who makes sure child support payments are up-to-date and for not letting the non-custodial parent slip through the cracks!

Ive called at least 10 times in a row not one person answered the phone horrible service

Is there not someone there to answer the phone at all hours during the operating hours? Every time I call it sounds like someone answers but never says a word

Well at least we aren't the only ones. They will not speak to you in person and I believe try to get the most money they can out of everyone that is ordered to pay. The case workers we had were going to argue with the judge about her $ figures for my son to pay until they reworked their numbers and realized the judge was correct.

AWFUL!!!!!! I spent countless hours with these people, all to wind up getting less than I was originally owed after spending days in court. Thanks for nothing New Hanover County Child Support. No one should ever come here thinking they will be helped by real lawyers, you are just a number and they literally don't care.
