Our experience at Cadence at Wake Forest was incredible due to their communication and responsiveness. The staff were very personable and genuine with us and our mother. They actively try to engage each resident, which helped our mother to become part of the Cadence family.

We could not be happier with the care and love shown to our mother at Cadence at Wake Forest. From the moment we entered Cadence, we knew this was THE place for mom. The direct care professionals are kind and patient. They have developed a precious bond with mom and she is so appreciative of all of their care. Mom enjoys the activities so very much and is always invited and, better yet, encouraged to attend each day. Staff works very hard to make sure that everyone feels loved and is attended to as well. The receptionist Jane is lovely and is always so helpful to families and residents. She looks out for everyone. The administrative team is attentive and are always visible and engaged. The medical lead is responsive and willing to chat and assist as needed. The dining room and kitchen team work very hard to ensure that residents receive delicious meals in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. The maintenance staff is friendly and is always busy keeping the facility looking its very best. Our first experience with an assisted living facility in Raleigh was miserable. Cadence is the exact opposite. The monthly family dinners hosted by Cadence are a wonderful way to stay engaged and spend a lovely evening with mom and the staff. Theres no place like home, but Cadence at Wake Forest is as close as we can get. Thank you to everyone at Cadence. You are appreciated.

My wife and I spent New Years Eve on the telephone trying to locate an acceptable Assisted Living facility for my mother. Ideally, we were looking for a good facility near our home but more importantly, one where my mother would be happy and well cared for by the staff. Together, we called 20 locations in the greater Raleigh area and only found two which were available and accepting new residents. All the others had active Covid cases, were not accepting new residents due to Covid, or were simply non-responsive. Cadence Wake Forest and Cadence North Raleigh both came highly recommended by the Executive Director of another facility. We picked the Wake Forest location as we were most impressed with the overall appearance, the Community Relations Director (Elsja) and the Executive Director (Mark). Thankfully, all the staff at this facility have turned out to be pleasant and helpful. Mom says: Everyone here is really nice. Despite very strict Covid protocols, the staff here have helped my mother adjust from living alone to enjoying a clean and comfortable community lifestyle. Mom couldnt be happier and neither could we. Five stars!
