Animal Hospital at Brier Creek

I travel a lot. I have a service dog that travels with me. I was fortunate to find this Vet a block from the motel I was staying in while working in the area. Top notch folks and I trust them completely with the health of my best friend and companion Mason Godfrey

Our experience was a very sad one. Discovering our Bengal girl of 12 years was overcome with inoperable cancer was utterly devastating. We took her hoping for a bowel obstruction that we could fix but were faced with the worst news - that we wouldn't be leaving with her. The empathy, gentleness and kindness shown by all the staff was so very much appreciated in our last hour with our darling girl. They allowed us to sit with her in the exam room for an hour whilst we waited for our son to arrive from school, to say his goodbyes. As heart wrenching and traumatic as this was, the dignity and bedside manner of all staff involved was incredible. My only constructive criticism would be; please ask your owners if they wish to see the x-rays if they are intense. I cannot get the images out of my mind and wished I hadn't seen the evil cancer that had invaded our girl's body so aggressively that her insides were misplaced... I would have preferred the option with a brief that said, it's inoperable and very invasive, would you like to see the imaging. Otherwise, what a wonderful team. We will be back with our new rescue kitties and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this practice. Our beloved Willow was in very good hands here, in her final moments. I was allowed to lay her in my lap and love her, stroke her, whilst the final injection was administered to put her out of her pain and suffering, to forever sleep. I'm beyond grateful that we were so well taken care of from front of house to the vet herself. A stellar team. Thank you all. We will see you soon.

I have been going to AHBC to see Dr. Goetz for years. She is very passionate about her work, and has provided incredible care to all of my pets over the years. I highly recommend this vet hospital.

AHBC always does a wonderful job. Each member of the staff care so greatly about us and our pet. They do a wonderful job making sure we are comfortable, informed, and pleased with each and every visit. Weve been a few more times than expected, but we have not had a single problem with the services! Absolutely would recommend!
