Rooms: I stayed in a very spacious and clean 2 bedroom queen room. Alot of good selection from ur menu! Jennifer was extremely helpful and on her toes. The evening bartender knew how to keep her guests satisfied! We went back several times.

I usually do not take the time to write a review of anything, but I can't hold my tongue on this one. I just don't think this place deserves close to 4 stars. I will preface my review by saying, overall, this is not a terrible hotel. The staff are friendly, my room was clean and stocked with everything you'd expect. However, there were definitely some things I was disappointed in. Breakfast was wildly overpriced. I paid $13 for a pre packaged moldy piece of banana bread, stale single serving of cereal and milk. Go to Bojangles for a better breakfast at half the price. A small cup of ice cream, the ones that come with a wooden spoon for children, that will run you $7 at the convenience store. Also, the shower will not drain. I was standing in a few inches of water almost as soon as I hopped in. Another thing, I know this is minimal, but the shower curtain is not long enough and pretty much useless. Lastly, the staff, while they are friendly, they are not as easily accessible as hotel staff should be. I saw multiple people wait several minutes at the front desk for someone to help them. I also see everyone raving about the location, if you want to see all the chain restaurants and shopping malls you probably have in your own city, then stay here. Otherwise, stay somewhere closer to Downtown where there is so much cool stuff. I am a Marriott Platinum member and come to Raleigh multiple times a year for work and to visit friends. I will stay elsewhere next time I am back, there are many better Marriott brand hotels in this town.
