Hilton Garden Inn Raleigh /Crabtree Valley

This location is my favorite Hilton Garden Inn. The decor is a step up from most other cities and the service is always impeccable. This location is central to everything that brings me to Raleigh and is tucked away from main roads enough that it stays quiet and relaxed. Love it!

I thought it was okay. The best part of it all was the service, but the concierge looked worn out. It must be a tough job! The pool was smaller than I thought but it was big enough for my 8 year old son and my 3 year old daughter. This place is extremely popular. They have a ton of conferences, church events, weddings, and etc. Lastly, the rooms were not up to quality. First, the air conditioning unit was either extremely hot or cold; even when adjusting the temperature and fan settings on the control module. Then one of our lights weren't functional in the room. No big deal, but things like this should be checked. The bathroom gets extremely moist and muggy. We were told that the fan was automatic as there was no on/ off switch. I'm not sure that was true and the fire sprinkler was rusted so water stays in the bathroom and it doesn't dry properly. Everything else was good. Oh, one more thing! The buffet breakfast isn't free. It's $20. This isn't what we expected when we were informed by the front desk of the serving time of breakfast. Weird
