I don't normally review chain stores but I gotta call good service when I see it. Maegan and Lydia were AMAZING! My cousin had some issues with an online order and they were able to get the order corrected and we're super nice about it. Thank you ladies you are awesome!

I walked in to return a perfume I bought at a different ulta the day before and I asked nicely if I was able to return it and this lady rudely rolled her eyes and said I mean I cant tell you no. And walked away. I then asked why there were no tester perfumes and she said cause they grow legs and walk away so what do I need help with. I said I actually have no idea(which is why I need testers) and she said ok well let somebody with keys know when you need something. So Im going to go to the ulta down the road that offers testers. How are you going to not offer testers, not offer any help choosing a scent for someone who has no idea, then get mad when I ask to return a perfume?

I've been going to Ulta for years in various locations. I've also worked various customer service jobs, so believe me when I say that it takes a lot of negativity from a place I shop at to incline me to write a review. I had an allergic reaction to a shampoo and conditioner that I purchased. I've never had an allergic reaction to ANYTHING before - let alone shampoo. I thought it would be helpful (and fun) to get a hair stylist's opinion on the products that caused the allergic reaction. When I asked a customer service representative at the front for help, she actually rolled her eyes at me and said, "our stylist is in the back." And when I told her I had an allergic reaction to this shampoo that I didn't even buy at Ulta, she gave me the most negative look. I cut our conversation short then went to the back. The stylist was almost as rude as the lady up front. I get it, she's giving me free advice. But that doesn't mean you have to be super negative about it! The stylist asked me to read the ingredients, told me I must be allergic to that shampoo brand (no, it's an ingredient that's causing this) and brushed me off like I was a complete burden. When I went to check out, that customer service representative was up front - but so was the manager. The girl walked off and the manager did the transaction. I told the manager what happened and also told her that I've worked customer service jobs, but with that said, this girl's attitude towards me was very concerning. I don't know if the manager is going to do anything about it, especially since it's so hard to hire people right now, but that's another reason why I'm posting this Google Review. Even in the past, this specific Ulta gives off a really negative, snobby vibe. I'll keep shopping here for stuff I need since my office is super close, but I will actually tell people to stay far away from this location!
