St. Mary's Square Apartments

have been living here about 4 years and love it! Location and amenities are great, but the best selling point is the staff! Gina and has been so helpful and patient. Gina always makes us feel like we were no trouble! Many of the apartment complexes we visited were too large, but Saint Marys Square is the perfect size for us. I also love that there are 4 different buses that stop either right outside the building, or within 3 blocks of it. We sold our car and have no problem getting to most places by bus. There is s beer and wine store only a block away. Plus three grocery stores within walking distance of less than a mile. And we are only 3 blocks from Glenwood Ave., where there are many bars, restaurants, etc., yet we are also in a fairly quiet area. I would definitely recommend this place!

I am disheartened by the service or lack there of I experienced on 1/14/2023. I scheduled an appointment to view this property online. It was late on Friday night, possibly just after midnight. There was a 10 am slot available for Saturday. I scheduled it, received my confirmation etc. To make a long story short, when my boyfriend and I arrived, the man working in the office (forgot his name unfortunately but definitely remember his face) basically told me I needed to reschedule. I asked him what he meant? He said he has a 10:30 appointment scheduled. I said ok, well I have a 10 am. By this time its 10:05 am. He was extremely fidgety to the point he seemed stressed. It seemed as if he didnt want to assist us. He rubbed his forehead almost like in a panic like he couldnt remember his password. So, in today's world, you never want to assume certain things, but situations such as this put you in that mind frame, like oh ok, I see whats going on. Im leaving out a lot so this review isnt too long. However, I plan on reaching out to their corporate office with full detail of what happened which I told him before I left the establishment. He stated that he would do a quick 25 minute tour after he first said I needed to reschedule and tried to debate if my appointment was even real. He even went so far as to say that he didnt see my appointment when he left on the prior evening. That was the worst thing he couldve ever said. When you have a site that operates 24 hrs a day, you expect updates right? I scheduled several viewings late Friday night, and guess what! Each of the other properties honored my viewing because the time was available when I booked it. This is TERRIBLE business! I booked a viewing of this property because of the great reviews saying nice things especially about the office staff. Maybe certain people get good service at St Marys Square Apartments. It was extremely awkward and uncomfortable. Ill gladly take my money elsewhere. ***Update*** 1/23/2023 My sincerest apologies for taking so long to update my review. I received a call on Monday 1/17/2023 regarding this matter. I greatly appreciate Gina taking time to place a call to me to address my concerns. Gina was pleasant and very compassionate.

A fantastic place to live! Great leasing office staff (shoutout to Gina), attentive maintenance crew, clean facilities, and perfect downtown location. I really enjoyed the year I lived at Saint Marys Square and I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to live in a smaller apartment building in downtown Raleigh at a reasonable price.

I absolutely love living in this apartment! The location is unbeatable, with so many places within walking distance. The amenities here are top-notch, and I especially appreciate the well-equipped gym and inviting common areas. Everything is well-maintained and in excellent condition. Moreover, the standout feature of this apartment complex is the exceptional service provided by the staff, including Gina. She's incredibly attentive and responsive, always resolving any issues I have in no time. It's a relief to have someone so reliable taking care of things.

Ive been at Saint Marys for almost 3 years and absolutely love it. :) I have to give a shout-out to Gina, who goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy and gets the help they need! Anthony & Noureddine are the best maintenance dynamic duo you could ask for - we would be lost without them! The community is great and Ive met some of my best friends here. 10/10 recommend.
