I bought a tree 3 years ago. Love it. But... when I put it up this year, there were MANY light bulbs out. When I asked about it at the "shop", I was told Ma'am, light bulbs burn out. The condescending attitude I received from the staff was appalling. I was merely quoting the warranty of the 10 years guarantee of lighting. It is deceiving that the warranty only applies for the light set. Not the bulbs. Do not buy your tree from Peppermint Forest. They do not tell you that you will have to replace bulbs. Our 3 year old tree, we replaced 50 bulbs. They had no remorse and we had to buy replacement bulbs. Oh a pack of 25 is $10. We went thru 2 packs. I will not return to Peppermint Forest. Do not buy your tree from them. They don't tell you the whole story. In today's technology, they should do better with LED bulbs that last. A $500 tree should bring more value and more customer service. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I want to echo what others said about the deceptive Wonder lit lights warranty and how the lights burn out fast. First, our tree was just three years old and there were at least 50 bulbs that burned out. That seems crazy when we paid hundreds of dollars for our tree! That should be unacceptable for a quality product. Second, the 10 year lights warranty is very misleading. The warranty says that the lights on the tree are covered for ten years. The service person and manager were very firm that the warranty actually covers the set of lights burning out but not the bulbs. The problem is that the wording of the warranty doesnt say sets. And both were condescending as they kept saying of course light bulbs burn out as if we were clueless and we should get over it. As pretty as the trees are, we will not shop there again and tell others the same because of how we were treated, the deceptive warranty information, and the quality problem with the lights. Shame on Peppermint Forest.
