My AARP contract with United Health Care will be canceled at the end of March. It has taken a good deal of research, attempts to get info from people with foreign accents, and lots of time on hold. Finally I found Sharie Wessel, a very experienced, extremely helpful medicare specialist at Blue Cross Blue Shield. Sharie was always immediately available when I called, always willing to stay on the phone as long as necessary, and always provided clear answers to my questions. She led me patiently through all the BCBS paperwork to make the transfer. Sharie was not just a source of information; she became a friend. The contrast in dealing with the transfer prior to reaching Shari was a night and day experience, and I cannot thank her enough.

working with the rep who helped me, Savannah, was the best customer service experience I've ever had. She was knowledgeable, supportive and helped me through the tedious BCBS-NC application. she kept i touch with me during the time the application was processing; knew my name and my concerns and got to back to me with every detail i needed to make the right choice. I cannot say enough about how great this experience has been.

I'd like to call out Savannah Bailey specifically for her patience while guiding me through the ins and outs and many questions I had regarding your Medicare Advantage PPO for NC. She clarified so many details for me including the "donut hole," which was never mentioned by any other providers, Aetna and Humana, for example.
