Ashbury Square Apartments

Mona is absolutely disrespectful. I was there on Saturday in the parking lot meeting a family member with clothes for my son. I own a home in Ashbury. I pay HOA fees to have access to the amenities. We parked there no longer than 7 minutes to pass the items. The parking lot was COMPLETELY EMPTY and Mona came out and told us to leave the parking lot because this was private property those spots were for future residents. She had no idea if we were interested in an apartment but if I was and greeted by her I would look elsewhere which was probably her goal. After telling her that we own a home in Ashbury and that I had access to this place she said if I come to the amenities I need to park across the parking lot in the apartment parking. I dont have an apartment! Not to mention they were 2 minutes away from closing and again the parking lot was empty! The whole who encounter with Mona was giving racist vibes. After my experience I read the reviews and it seems that there is a common trend when it comes to the Ashbury apartment Office when it comes to people of color. Mona does not need to be employed there bc she is the face of discrimination.

We have enjoyed living is such a friendly, beautiful place. The management staff and maintenance staff are wonderful.

I have lived in Ashbury for years (7-8) now and it has been a great place to live with some good people as neighbors. The staff or management and maintenance people have always been top notch and I dont think you could ask for any better. Being someone who has worked w maintenance and with apartments before can say knowing its 100% true.
