Response time is unprofessional, she will sit down with you and meet with you but thats it. She will have her assistant reach out for anything. She will not personally go over your taxes with you, she went over them again after I found an error with my taxes. Its sad because before I did my taxes with her, the reviews on Facebook seemed good but it seems they werent for her legit business in North Carolina.

I cant believe they have that many high marks on Facebook and here. Probably hired fake reviewers. They charged me $400 last year for my taxes. They made so many mistakes on my taxes and didnt respond to me for two months as I was chasing them to correct the mistakes before tax deadline. What is the point of filling out a questionnaire if they wont transfer the information over to your tax forms correctly? They claimed they had some court case and the judge had ordered something they were trying to handle, so they had been under pressure to meet that deadline. That was reason enough for not returning my calls or responding to my emails to just let me know?? They finally promised to call but never did. They ended up not filing my taxes as the new CPA I hired found no record with the IRS of my tax filing for 2022. I reported them to the IRS but I wonder if anything was ever done. I had to hire a different CPA to redo my taxes. I wont go back to these Chopelas people even if I needed a heart transplant and they are the only ones with one to spare.
