Jessica was the star of this place. She was kind, and knowledgeable. I never went back after my initial visit with Jessica who showed me all the exercises I need to do to get better. The reason why I never went back is that a receptionist who was helping to fill out appointments with me became rude. I had my wife on the phone who does all our families scheduling and as we found slots my wife was literally taking an extra 15 seconds to write the appointment in the calendar. The receptionist said, " I can't wait for you to put these appointments in your calendar." There was no one in the checkout area and two other women who do the same job with nothing to do. I pointed out calmly that there wasn't anyone waiting and she said she had to make phone calls. It was 4:45 and they close at 5 so I believe it was a lie and that she wanted to leave early. I called the next day and cancelled all my appointments. I will not be treated like that. Totally rude behavior so they lost a customer for 6 weeks and I won't be singing their praises. So Jessica gets 5 stars and the woman who make the appointments get one star.

RUN IF YOU CAN. AWFUL PATIENT CARE AND AWFUL BILLING POLICY I was referred by my physician for some mild hip pain. The pt who did the assessment seemed great. However, when I returned I had a different pt who told me an exercise to do then left and attended to another patient. I would have to wait for him to return before learning my new exercise and he left again to go back to the other patient. I have no idea if I was doing it correctly or not. So I sought out another pt at another location. I saw them for a total of two 30 min visits. The worst part is probably billing. They charged my insurance $700 leaving me was a $300 bill for two lousy sessions. Even though I have a copay, they charge toward your deductible. On intake the office personnel obliquely stated that. They also tell you on intake you can any amount you want that day. I was advised and told to pay $50 bc in the end it usually ends up being close to your copay. Well they refunded that money and told me I had overpaid . The general practitioner then told me I had overpaid and applied that to another in office unrelated copay. And obviously what I was told to pay out of pocket wasnt even close.

This place is awesome. Kaitlin is very patient and always makes me laugh. I have seen Jason so far and he knows what to do Cathy is also encouraging and very confident and I have some genuine optimism about the future, that it might be pain free. Thank all of you.

Im a pretty active guy up until a couple of months ago I was hiking about 30 miles a week; Big Glassy weekdays and Mountains to Sea in Pisgah on weekends. Well all of that came to a screeching halt after I rode my mountain bike to the Sideways Farm Brewery on the rough gravelled Ecusta Trail. Apparently those bouncy 20 miles shook up some dormant arthritis in my lower lumbar that jumped up and put a chokehold on my sciatic nerve. My wife sent me to the doctor, the doctor sent me to Southeastern Orthopedic and Southeastern put me in Physical Therapy. By and large the experience in PT has been positive. Various stretches to help me alleviate sciatica and a condition I now have called Drop Foot. Each of the 3 PTs have been pleasant to work with and, speaking of stretches, it is apparent that they are stretched to the limit, having to deal with two or more patients at a time. I want to use this review to send a special shout out of appreciation to Karen W. She has a very friendly and assertive way about her and radiates energy and optimism. With 25 years of experience, she approaches the job on a more personal level. She not only walked me through each exercise but, using a skeleton model, explained the body mechanics of how and why we were doing each move. She provided me with follow up handouts and actually referred me to the book, Back Mechanic by Dr. Stuart McGill. While I have huge respect, appreciation and admiration for everyone in the health care field I believe that those who go above and beyond deserve special recognition. Many Thanks Again!
