First visit.. I really like Dr. Schroeder, she was very pleasant, and listened! As far as reception on the first floor, there isn't any!! They never acknowledged me, or spoke!? I had to go up to the window finally, and ask where my doctor was, because they were all busy talking to each other, and that is so unprofessional, and rude!! Hope they are working on that problem!?

My husband and I had a great experience with Lactation Consultant Sharon. She was knowledgeable, approachable, and very kind. She answered all of our questions, made sure to ask about our daughter's health and nursing habits, and seemed to genuinely care about our experience while we were there. Connie - a woman who greeted us when we first walked in - was also incredibly helpful and sweet and assisted my husband in helping our newborn and myself to the car when it was pouring down rain at the end of our appointment with Sharon. We look forward to our next appt. with Sharon, and we highly recommend her services and aid

I am horrified at the treatment I received from an on-call weekend nurse today, 10/8/2023. This past week, Dr. Duncan prescribed an antibiotic for me, which I was diligently taking until yesterday. My husband had friends over, and I noticed the pills were missing. I called CVS, which advised me to call my dr yo replace the remaining course of medicine. Being the weekend, I received a call back from a nurse at 1:52pm. The call went fine until she said I could receive a link for an appointment or call for one on the next business day. That's when I made the statement that I was so angry. Now I wasn't angry with her. I was angry that someone came into my home and stole something from me that caused me so much drama. But this nurse didn't allow me to finish the whole sentence before she started in a loud voice. MAME, MAME, MAME!!!SO, DO YOU WANT THE LINK OR NOT??? As if she were holding it over my head if a game of "jump for it." The n she says, "THANK U, GOODBYE". I recorded a small portion on the tale end of the call simply because I couldn't believe what my ears were witnessing. I was shocked that a Cone facility would employ an unpleasant, unprofessional, unintelligent, anger filled, possibly substance abuser. Dr. Duncan is the best obgyn I have ever seen. She makes me feel like she cares and will get to the bottom of my issue(s). It is a shame it was all ruined by one sad individual. I know it's hard to find good employees. But it's not bad enough to employ a person like her. I am sick, and she made me feel worse. I mean, I was in tears after that call. I want this relayed to every board member. This was a terrible experience. Maybe it is a good idea that Novant Health, Wake, and Duke are moving into the area . Maybe they have professionals on staff that wouldn't make me feel like I was victimized a second time.
