        I have been working as a private care giver at CE for over 13 years. It's very nice place, clean,smells good the managers Chris and Sally are awesome they will go out of the way to make sure they're residents are happy, they really care about their residents. I don't have to hesitate to ask them for anything they're always on point. The regional director Latasha is awesome. You will definitely know she's in the building when you see her bright smile and her energy she doesn't hesitate to help in the dining room or any where else in the building she's awesome.

        My mother-in-law lived there for 8 months and we were really excited to have her so close by. After a few weeks the contract obligation of housekeeping once a week didnt happen and she went for weeks without anyone coming to clean. And the food they provide was abysmal. It gave her stomach problems and some of it was inedible. However in talking to the other residents they had the same issues but were afraid to complain. Unfortunately she passed away while there and we were verbally told in consideration the rent would stop 22 days from her passing. Because we didnt have this in writing they reneged on that date. Going forward, anything they say or commit to, get in writing and hold them to it.

        My mom has been at Carolina for 6 months. We are so grateful and happy for her to be at this wonderful, magical, cheerful place for elders. It is a joy to walk in the door and see happiness, fun and friends for residents. Chris and Sally are amazing, welcoming and involved managers. Shaylin is a true delight to work with and the staff is exactly what you would expect for your family. I am really so happily surprised that every one of the young people that work in the dining room and cleaning staff are so friendly, kind and sweet with the residents. They know their names and treat them kindly with respect. I cannot say enough nice things about Carolina Estates.

We spoke with the regional director to see if there were any housekeeping issues and none had been brought to his attention, but he's following up. We also researched food concerns to see if any had been reported to our resident relations line, but there hasn't been anything reported anonymously or directly by a resident in recent months.
