Just completed our first project with Akr . Shane was great to work with, and we love the porch! Highly recommend him, and will be using him again in the future.

We have completed 2 projects and are currently working on a third with Shane and the team. I cannot say enough about working with them and the quality of work! We could not be happier! Also we get so many compliments for each of our decks! Cant wait for our bathroom remodel!!!

AKR came out to install a roof through Lowe's on 1-19-23 . After they left I looked ouside and had a lot of material left that had not been installed, 2 vents, and ridge vents. So I called them back to let them know about it and requested a call back which never happened, one of the roofers just showed up the next day with his wife and small child in the truck and ask what was wrong . I showed him what had not been done and he grunted,and put the stuff on that had been left off. Now 11 months later the shingles have waves in them like wind blown sand, nail pops everywhere and the boots that go around the vent pipes are installed backwards and not sealed and the underlayment was wadded up under the shingles per the roof inspector. I ask how to fix it, answer was full roof replacement . I would not recommend this company for any type of roof work.

AKR Builders built us a new TREX deck after a tree destroyed our deck. We looked at several companies and AKR stood out in the crowd. From the initial presentation by Shane who is honest, sincere, knowledgeable, respectful and responded to my endless questions. Amy handled the appointments, scheduling, billing and everything from start to finish. The communication and details helped two people with no experience with this type of project. The deck builders were professional, arrived at 8AM and left as the sun set. They did a superb job and we watched as the deck was built to our specifications. Chris managed the deck project and Shane (owner) stopped by to touch base on the progress of the project. We also hired AKR and GT Custom ( same owner) for other projects. The lines of communication were always open and our satisfaction was important to AKR. The quality of the products and the contractors for each project were phenomenal. Everyone was extremely pleasant and dedicated to doing a stellar job without shortcuts. In addition to the deck, we now have new windows, gutters, roof and doors along with a paint job. I highly recommend AKR for any project and we are saving for our next request. The quality of the job performed and the value cant be beat. This company and all its employees shines like a beacon above the rest. Thank you for allowing us to be your customer. We love our deck and enjoying the time spent relaxing in the fresh air.
