UPDATE. May 22, 2022 ... After reading the response from Modern Fan Outlet we would like to clarify. We reported our issue to Modern Fan Outlet the day after it happened. For months they have been saying that the part is backordered (which we do understand is beyond their control). HOWEVER, we asked several times if they could just send us a new fan and we would take out the glass and return either that fan or the one we had already installed. Each time they told us that is not the way the warranty works, they can only replace the part. We then decided to call the manufacturer directly and after sending pictures they immediately sent us a new fan and a return label to ship the fan back, MINUS the glass piece. Had we known how POORLY THE CUSTOMER SERVICE would be from Modern Fan Outlet we would have initially called the manufacturer directly and this would have been taken care of in a matter of days, rather than months!!!! BUYER BEWARE: We've purchased 10 fans in the past 12 months from this retailer, Our last purchase, back in February, was for (3) identical ceiling fans. Within 20 minutes of installing one of the fans the glass dome covering the light fixture came out of the housing and shattered all over our sunroom coffee table. There were 3 of us sitting in the room at the time. Luckily no one was injured and the majority of the glass hit the table but it did shatter all over the sectional we were on. We reported this immediately to this retailer (Modern Fan Outlet, an online division of Dan's Fans) and they said they would contact the manufacturer to get a replacement. At least 10 calls and 3 months later we still do not this issue resolved. We've had to follow up each time and we get a difference answer and pushed back dates of when the replacement part will come in. We finally contacted the manufacturer directly on May 5th and they informed us that this should have been handled from day 1 as an incident/accident and everything would have already been resolved. To say this company has poor customer service is putting it mildly. Photo #1 what the fan should look like, photo #2 what it is now.

This was my first time buying fans online, and I searched and searched through so many other websites and this was the one that I came across that had soo many selections of beautiful fans and reasonably priced also. So I finally made my selections and bought two ceiling fans and when they came one was perfect but the other wasnt going to work with the room decore! I made a call to Jeff at the fan outlet store where I had purchased the fans online and ohh wow was I impressed!! He went over all the selections I thought would work better and helped ne with the final selections. Couldnt have done this without your help Jeff thank you so much and the Lord Bless you
