Went in for an oil change. Came out with one and a damaged skid plate. Spoke to the manager, the conversation went from 0 to 100 on his end, slamming his hand on the counter, raising his voice, etc. Refused to do anything about it, refused to give me his bosses information, told me to email corporate. I wanted to file a claim but was told it wouldn't matter because they stated in the comments about the skid plate and that I should have read the receipt just like he, the manager would for his repairs. I am used to being communicated to at the end of every service if they noticed any issues or in the middle of the service, it wasn't mentioned to me at checkout, that the skid plate was damaged prior. One of the employees did mention, not the manager, that I could have hit something or someone removed the bolts after I came back to see about filing a claim. They also did not mention the actual damage that needed to be repaired which was my tire sensor malfunctioning, which the check light pops on as soon as I get in the car and my car keyfob needing a new battery under the comments instead of going for the skid plate. I haven't had a problem before with my skid plate until I left here, I have a technician that I go to, which I am able to see them work on my car upclose and allowed to see underneath my car as well. This time I was in a rush so I chose this location. No issues with my vehicle from my technician either before now. It's a good thing I don't need it, technician in fayetteville informed me of the level of importance it was, which is of very low importance.
I hope that the person in charge of this location can learn how to better approach issues that they are responsible for instead of using DARVO, to avoid accountability. Photo below is another local shop that was explaining the missing bolts and made sure no other damage was done once they took off the Skid Plate.
