I've been coming here for years, at this location as well as when they were across the street in Baywood plaza. This is the only urgent care I've ever had issues with but Dr. Shakir, MD is so friendly and thorough which is why I come back. Not to add it's 3 minutes from my home which is very convenient when you have sick children. However, a few months ago my co-payment was $30 and today it was $100. I have the same insurance I had a few months ago. On top of that I was told that my daughters medicine wouldn't be covered due to something that only they are experiencing.

They refused to see my 7 year old son who had 102.9 temperature. This is the second place I've attempted to go to for him to be checked out cause he isn't feeling well and the front desk clerk told me they could not see him because they are about to close for lunch. My son has a 102.9 temp... I'm just trying to get him seen.

Great facility! Kind and helpful staff. They get you back to see the doctor quickly and youre not waiting forever to be seen. Theyre also really great with kids!
