Simmons Heating & Air Conditioning

This company was phenomenal for awhile and then it wasn't. I had used them at my home and two businesses, and referred them to multiple people that then used them. Perhaps it's ownership or management has changed. Last year I purchased 5 commercial HVAC units at the same time. After almost a year one unit had an issue and nothing was found during the requested service call. A few weeks late still having the issue I called again and after some convincing that they did in fact sell me the units a tech came out and said the regulator was bad. The part was covered under warranty, but the labor would not be because we were now just out past a year. Labor quoted was over $1000. The office staff act like they hate their job, and perhaps that is warranted. My review went from 5 stars to 1 because this company did.

Used this company a year or so back. Worker was phenomenal but was obviously being pushed to sell add-ons. One of those was a air return filter that uses proprietary filters that are electrified and supposedly help with removing air particulates... bla bla bla. Called today to get new filters and found it was about 150 for 4 new ones. I don't think the system cost more than 250 -300 to install. The price of replacements was never discussed with me, but I foolishly assumed they wouldn't charge a ridiculous price for their stuff. I was wrong and will just not use there stuff. Can't be to hard to uninstall ... good and through with this company at this point. Service: A/C system repair
