Comfy, cozy, historic beauty. I am traveling to Elizabeth City for work and this is the perfect location for a few nights to week long stays. Super adorable small town with really good food!

A wonderful stay at a basement bargain price. The building is an older structure. It is not a new building. It is clean and well maintained and very comfortable. Don't let the shared bath scare you away, but do bring your own robe. We felt like we were the only ones there (perhaps we were). While the location is in an older area of town, it is centrally located to everything there is to do in Eluzabeth City. Rooms: The aviation room is quaint, quiet, and comfortable. Nearby activities: Albemarle Museum. Golf is 40 minutes away (kilmarlic, la point, etc.). Safety: Safely operated. You don't need to see anyone to gain entrance, and while the parking lot was full, we didn't see another soul.

Beautiful historic home! If you have a love for history this is the place to stay! Original 200 year old floors, original style locks to doors. Along with beautiful antique fireplaces. The host is a lovely caring person I cant recommend this B&B more!

Owner cancelled our reservation at the time we were supposed to check-in. We were already in town, 3.5 hours from home, and waiting on the 3pm self check-in directions. At that time, we received a call that she was cancelling our reservation, and we later learned that her reason of power surges was not the truth. EC is too small of a town for an inn owner to consider such a move like this. We're giving one star only because it seems we have to in order to post this review.

Best Airbnb experience Ive had! The host was super friendly, thorough, and quick with her responses to my many questions at all hours of the day and did not make me feel like a hassle. She went above and beyond to help me out during my stay when I ran into some unexpected personal road bumps! You can tell they really care about your experience. They have cute pups. I loved the charm of the old house and the history they provided with it. The unique themed rooms was a nice, fun touch. House was huge and the rooms were big as well. Its kept cool, clean, and well maintained. Some parts of the home obviously dont operate exactly like a modern home- like the front door needing an extra bit of force to close, for example. BUT everything worked well (especially considering how old this house is), and I dont have any complaints. Water parks, brewery, coffee, restaurants in walking distance (very very small town). Perfect balance of friendliness and hospitality while letting you have your personal space. Everything you need is there: common mini fridge, claw foot tub, toiletries, towels, and even optional add on packages. Good value, despite being just a room in a shared living space. If Im ever in the area again, Ill definitely rebook!!
