Don,We appreciate your feedback, however, Woodland Group was the broker for the sale of the lot to you when you purchased at Finn’s Retreat on September of 2020. We are truly sorry you feel like you are having issues with the community. However, the Woodland Group, as broker in the transaction, does not handle the continued maintenance of the community and has no control over the HOA management company and therefore cannot resolve the issues you have experienced. We have expressed your concerns and issues to the seller on your behalf. Your expectation that we are responsible for this maintenance would be the same as if you were to buy a house with a broker in a residential community with a clubhouse and pool and expect your broker to maintain the pool or clubhouse for the years after your purchase within that community. This is not a reasonable expectation. We have spoken in the past and we relayed your concerns to the developer and tried to help you. You’ve clearly been in communication with the developer and the HOA and they’ve attempted to resolve the issues, obviously not to your satisfaction. We attempted to discuss the issues again with you today and you abruptly hung up and would not answer a follow up call. We’ve again brought your concerns to the developer and will continue to stress to any seller we work with to resolve issues with owners that reach out to us. We’re sorry you are not happy with the solutions provided by the seller, but we have not control of those resolutions and are not responsible for continued maintenance or repair of a community since we are not the seller, developer or builder of the community. We’ll continue to try to assist you and any buyer as much as possible and hope this issue is resolved for you and any other property owners.
