My company made direct deposit electronically to my checking account on Tuesday morning. Although FC sent me an automatic email notifying me of payment on Tuesday afternoon no deposit showed in my account. When I called customer service they had no record, said they would research and call me back, never called back. I called them back they said it could take 24-48 hours to research, I told them unacceptable.  It's Wednesday night still no deposit in my account, I have documentation from my company proving the direct deposit. If deposit doesn't show up on Thursday I have no choice but to report them to the NC Banking Commission.

I called my mom yesterday, 79 years old, she was so upset. Her ID was missing she couldnt find it anywhere in house or car. She had visited bank that afternoon. She went back to bank yesterday 01/25/23 before she even made it to a teller , one of the associates approached her and said I have something for you.and handed my mom her wallet with ID. Now mom was very grateful, however a simple phone call could have saved her a whole lot of stress. Very annoyed on how this was handled.

I have been a customer since 1993 and the bank has not evolved.  The online technology and phone system are from the 1980's and the customer service department only knows how to say I am sorry.  If you travel this is NOT the bank for you.  I miss the old FC.
