Not a great experience this time..... reserved a lift gate truck only to get to the pickup site and no truck....had to go 35 miles to pick up the truck needed.... already had help lined up and had to keep them waiting to get the moving done.

I rented a sleeper truck from the Craighead st location in Charlotte on March 10. I supplied a $2500 cashiers check that was required. I thought at the time I saw the guy, Devon, endorse the check and put it in the safe to be returned. On March 16 upon returning the truck I find that the cashier's check was endorsed and I cannot take that to the bank to cash it. I called on three to four different occasions to check to see if the cashier's check was endorsed and I was told that it wasn't so I had three different people that lied to me about the cashier's check. This is piss poor customer service on behalf of Penske Leasing. So now I have to wait a couple of days for someone to return my security deposit but there was no hesitation in taking my security deposit when I picked up the truck. Needless to say with the dishonesty displayed by the staff at this location I would not rent from these people again or recommend anyone do business with them.
