Very unprofessional. I tried to make an appointment and a whole bunch of staff was talking and laughing on the background that I couldn't hear anything the appointment clerk said. I asked the clerk to tell her colleagues to lower the voice, she said she can't do that. Also, when she picked up the phone, she sounded reluctant like she just woke up. Very unprofessional. The Novant in Midtown needs discipline. I don't have the impression that they will take good care of their patients. I did cancel the appointment.

Arrived at this location 2:30 on September 12 for my first physical therapy appointment.Only one receptionist on duty and she was sitting with her back to me quite clearly talking to one of her friends on the phone. Waited 5 minutes before someone else walked through and saw me standing there waiting to check in. The check out experience was even worse. Same receptionist spent over 15 minutes with one person while six others were waiting to be checked in/out . She was in no hurry nor made any apologies for the huge inconvenience to patients. I ended up walking out . I will not be returning to this location for treatment. Unfortunate because the therapist I saw , Ethan, was very prompt, professional,and courteous. Novant needs to step up their game with their reception area/employees.
