Think twice before signing anything with Carolina Metro Realty. They are shysters and I guarantee you, you will be sorry for having any business dealings with them. I have first hand knowledge of how they operate and trust me when I tell all unsuspecting people out there, BEWARE. I'm telling you, because I wish someone had told me.

If I could give them.a zero or minus 5 I would. They are ABSOLUTELY the worst...unethical is puttinf it mildly. Prospective Tenants & Owners...BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!

Don't do it. This company is pretty much dead at this point, with only the owner left. I've been with them for the last 12 years and the most recent owner has completely driven the business into the ground, and I don't think they will be around much longer. Look elsewhere!

CMR managed a property for me over a period of years. When I decided to list my property for sale, I was able to finally see what a horrible job they did. There was visible water damage that was never brought to my attention, and HVAC filters had not ben changed since the system was installed. On top of that, CMR has stopped responding to any requests regarding the return of the security deposit to me to cover delinquent rent and damages, as well as the minimum portfolio reserve of my money still in their possession. I will now be seeking legal counsel to remedy this issue. Stay away from this business.

If could give zero stars to CMR I would. CMR property management company managed my rental property for 3 years and all they did was collect the rent. They told me they would do a yearly inspection and did not do that. Everytime you called no one answered the phones. Is very hard to reach anyone in the office. Both the tenants and I requested for the deck to be repaired several times and they never did it. The manager's voice mail was always full and the only way to communicate with him was by text. When the tenants were moving they told me they reported that the refrigerator was leaking water, but CMR property management company never fixed it. So when the tenants moved I had to replace the entire down stairs flooring, plus floor boards. When the tenants moved I had to spend over $25,000 in repairs. I tried to get the entire security deposit, but they kept a portion of it because they replaced some cheap blinds; even after I told them I was not replacing the blinds. After they agreed to give me the security deposit they never followed through on their word and I had to call them almost daily to actually get some of the security deposit. On the manager's last day I had to meet him just to get portion of the security deposit. The manager told me he was quitting because the owner of the company don't care about his company and don't invest in the staff or the company. If you value your investment don't hire Carolina Metro Realty Property Management/CMR Property Management.
