I went in for an oil change but ended up with something hanging out from my steering wheel ! I called back and was told to bring it back which I did . They had no idea what it was nor did it happen during their services.. Not sure what it's going to cost to get the issue resolved ! Not pleased with this.

I had a very concerning experience at Havoline Xpress Lube Charlotte, on University City Blvd. I went in for an oil change and also received a multi-point inspection. The following day, my car's engine failed while crossing a busy intersection. Upon contacting the company, they acknowledged that there was security footage showing improper maintenance at their facility. This led to them mandating additional training for their shop workers. Despite assurances of fixing my car and replacing a specific valve, Havoline only made adjustments. Now, my car's engine is totaled, and I am facing $16,000 in repairs and currently in discussions with attorneys to address this issue. For anyone considering Havoline Xpress Lube Charlotte for vehicle maintenance, I urge caution based on my experience. An incident like this shows the importance of thorough and competent service, especially for something as critical as vehicle maintenance.
