At the beginning of my move from New York I was highly stressed the company made it almost discouraging taking my items to Charlotte with horrible communication and experience BUT!! John from E.E. Ward went above and beyond to make sure the second half of my move went smoothly, with AMAZING customer service to make sure not only did I receive ALL of my belongings, bust also making sure that I felt heard and that we were appreciated as customers. If I ever need anything moved to a new home in the future I have the information saved and will make sure to not only use E.E. Ward again but also refer any friends or family to them as well. Thank you to John at E.E Ward and his team again and again!

We are using e e ward in our move. Mark made the packing and moving process seemless. His crew took care of our home and belongings As if they were their own. We have never had movers or packers before and we are so grateful for Mark and his team making the process so easy!

I chose to work with E. E Ward after I received a couple of quotes from various companies for my move form NC to WA. The mostly 5-star reviews here played a major role, so I wanted to share my firsthand experience with those who might want to use my review as one data point in the future. The process was straightforward: a call with estimator, getting a quote, negotiating, working with a coordinator, packing loading and then unloading. The E. E. Ward team did a good job in the fundamentals. What they lacked, and for that they get 2 out of 5 stars, was accountability and paying attention to details. Let me elaborate: Scott: 1 star He claimed to be the only person I will deal with in the entire process. It was not the case and as soon as I signed I worked with other people. Thats FINE. Not a big deal. The problem occurred when in the destination, the team unloaded but did not unpack adding hours and hours of work for me and my wife. I had asked Scott to match other offers that clearly had unpacking and removing cardboards included. Scott responded to my email saying it wasnt in my contract. Im sorry! And that was it. And I have not heard from Scott since. Even after I forwarded him the past communication with other companys quotes where I clearly asked to match the other offer. Scott could act professionally and simply let me know that a mistake has happened somewhere in the process; unpacking is not included and they have to charge me extra for the service. In return, they also take the responsibility and offer me a small discount. Instead, Scott chose to do nothing! Misty: 5 star Great communicator. She was proactive to let us know about the next steps and kept us up to date about the arrival date. Movers in NC: 4 star Nice and kind. The only issues was that they did not pack furniture and mattress well. Furniture have minor damages and the mattress is wet with a big purple stain on it. The driver: 4 star Our driver, was kind and responsible. He did a good job helping the movers as well. Jeff, however, disassembled many items to fit them better in his truck saying that the team will take care of it in the destination. No one did. Packers: 3 star Very kind and caring. However, they mixed our stuff in different cartons, making it very difficult to find and organize things. One big plastic container was packed inside another box, and irrelevant items had been stored together. You simply dont expect that work people with 20+ years of experience. At the end, our stuff were not packed professionally, and were not unpacked at all, as we had expected. I had to spend hours and hours to unpack; a time I could use to focus on the new job. And I had paid more than $9000 for the move.

We had a very smooth and timely move with no hurdles and breakages. Everything was handled very gentle. I would love to recommend them. In love with their serivce. Great to work with them.
