I selected Keen Building to handle a custom home renovation for me. I have a 1956 ranch that I liked, but, knew could be better. After getting some architectural plans done, I started meeting with builders. Right away, I got a good feeling from Alex at Keen Building. First, he was local, and lived in the same general area, so, he knew how the neighborhood was changing and what I was looking to do. Second, you could tell by his tone, his passion for these older homes and updating them to the modern way we live now.
After meeting with several other builders, I knew my first instinct on Keen Builders was right on. I signed the contract, and off we went! Alex and team were patient with me to answer my questions (my first time building or remodeling). What started out as a standard refresh and add on, ended up being a complete remodel including all new wiring, windows, etc...
Alex was great to answer my questions, even on weekends. Very responsive, and a bit unusual in the contractors industry. Willing to work with my schedule to meet at nights, weekends, etc....
Also, they were able to be flexible, to fix some errors made by the architect, and work around would could have been some costly problems down the road.
All in all, I ended up with a high quality product that I am proud to show off. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again for future projects.
